After looking at the website and Trip Advisor we had high expectations before we arrived and those expectations were met or exceeded. The accommodations were excellent, with a well-appointed room with wrap around windows to take in the lush gardens of the villa. Most of the meals were taken on the 2nd story balcony with great views. The breakfasts were a delight with a plate of fresh fruit , as well as local dishes such as ackee and fish and cassava pancakes with bananas and pecans. We ate 6 evening meals there and the variety and quality of food was outstanding. At some meals there were vegans and chef Darryl prepared dishes that satisfied all tastes. The local food was a great treat.

Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We made several trips during the week. We went to nearby attractions such as Dunn’s River Falls, as well as day trips to go rafting on the Rio Grande and visit Frenchman’s Cove , and a day trip to the Blue Mountains, Kingston and Port Royal. Our driver, Patrick was very informative and introduced us to many interesting aspects of Jamaica as well as the delicious local fruits.

All in all this was a memorable introduction to Jamaica and I would heartily recommend it

Room Tip: As far as I can tell there are no bad choices

Amazing food! The hosts are extremely gracious and one of them is a trained chef. I had one of the best breakfasts of my entire life. There is also a quaint lagoon within walking distance that is extremely refreshing. I hope to stay there again in the future.

When our family went to Jamaica over the holidays, we didn't want to stay in a big resort with loud music and people partying all night long. The Blue House was the perfect, relaxing getaway for the group of us. It has a quiet pool nestled amongst the orchids and flowers for plenty of down time and sunning. My favorite spot was the quiet hammock situated in the garden. It's also close to the beaches and sights we wanted to see, and Patrick, their driver, was always available to drive us where ever we wanted to go. He also gave great suggestions about places to see.

The high point of staying here, though, has to be the food. Darryl whips up some AMAZING dishes. We were lucky enough to experience a New Year's Eve feast - 5 main courses - duck, ham, shrimp, steak, chicken, side dishes AND multiple deserts. (Leave the diets at home!) Some of our group have dietary restrictions and they were more than accommodating for the meals.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to be great (most overlooking the pool)

We have yet to visit, but we already know our vacation will be fantastic from the care and attention the staff has put into our travel plans and offering ways to make the trip so memorable, as we will be celebrating my sister’s 50th birthday and a 15th wedding anniversary. Communication has been timely, i.e. calling us back right away, and Keneesha has been so helpful! Thank you, Blue House! We can’t wait to meet all of you!!

We stayed 4 days at the Blue House B&B during the Christmas holidays. After few minutes, we immediately realised that this is a special place. In fact, everything here exceeded our expectations:
- the room was clean, big, well equipped;
- the staff, was super nice, always ready to help you and provide you with advice. I had the feeling to be part of a family;
- restaurant: even if it is a B&B, I strongly recommend to also have dinner there. It is way better than any restaurant in the area. I will always remember those dinners spent around the table with my wife, the other guests of the B&B and the owner, chatting about our fantastic days in Jamaica!
It was a beautiful experience and I strongly recommend this place!
