My husband, son, mother-in-law and I spent 10 days here in September.
It took us a while to find the country club as it was dark and we took a few wrong turns on the way up, but it's actually very easy to get to via the main Hope Road in Kingston (home of the Bob Marley Museum, and Devon House for the stately home, delicious ice cream and much more).
Security is very tight, but they are very friendly too, beeping and waving on their patrols. This helped to reassure us that we would be safe there throughout our stay.
The apartment is light and airy, with beautifully tiled floors, air conditioning in the bedrooms, fans, and plenty of space and seating for all of us to relax comfortably. Bed linens are provided, you just need to take your own towels and toiletries.
Once we received the wifi password Mick was always available via email or whatsapp if we had any queries at all, and we had a courtesy visit from Stephania the Grounds Manager too.
We were able to make use of the pool and the corner shop on site, as well as the washing machine and drying lines. Investigate with the TV and you'll find plenty of movies and programmes to watch. The addition of the garden gave amazing views of Kingston below. It also meant our 2-year-old son could play outside even if we weren't venturing out for the day, which was a godsend! It was literally a home from home.
In all, we would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose and thank Mick for the wonderful apartment and hospitality.
