Dear Marion and Reinhard,

It was wonderful to have you on board again and such fun!

I was happy the weather was good for snorkelling and loved watching you both in the water. So relaxed and competent.

I hope that your sailing training in Germany is going well and look forward to hearing how you are getting along with it.

Best wishes,
Sandra and Robin

“Exceeded Expectations”
Reviewed 7 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

My husband and I spent 9 glorious days on the yacht Ngoma with Sandra and Robin. We are well travelled and have been to the Caribbean on numerous occasions. This trip was by far the best vacation we have ever experienced. Our only regret was that we only booked for 9 days.
The yacht is exactly as shown and was perfect for a couple. Loads of space and the private head was a very nice touch.
Sandra's food was outstanding. Each meal was better than the one before. The food was obtained at the local markets and so was fresh and unique. Sandra went out of her way to introduce us to fruit and vegetables we had never before tasted. This was a true "eating experience".
We went to numerous islands including Tobago Cays, Mayreau, Sandy and Union Island and Bequi. Each had its own charm and it would be difficult to say which was the best.
The snorkeling was much better than we anticipated and was the highlight of out trip. It was like being in your own Nemo.
I would highly recommend the Yacht Ngoma for your next vacation. You will not be disappointed. We always felt safe and secure with Robin's sailing expertise and his caution and respect for the ocean.
Sandra and Robin are perfect hosts and have a way of making you feel so very comfortable and at home on their yacht. They are an amazing couple who go out of their way to share their Caribbean home and experiences.
It was for us the trip of a lifetime. We are already looking forward to our next years adventure on the Ngoma.

Dear Karen and Tim,

I have already thanked you for your review - but this is the "official" thank you. I am not very good with my computer skills and am only finding out things that, really, I should have been aware of before.

Thank you for coming to stay, we loved having you on board and hope that your next trip will not be too far off.

Take care and go well,

Sandra and Robin

“Best Sailing Trip Ever”
Reviewed 7 February 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We recently sailed again with Robin and Sandra aboard their 42' catamaran the Ngoma. We went out with them from Bequia down to the Tobago Cays where we anchored for a couple of days to snorkel, before sailing on to Union Island for our trip back. This was a fantastic time. Robin and Sandra are a delightful couple. I felt perfectly safe with Robin at the helm, and I actually put on weight with Sandra's fabulous cooking. Their company over meals was a true delight. They are such wonderful people with such interesting histories.

The sailing was wonderful as was the snorkeling. I really appreciated how conscientious Robin was, making certain we knew all the safety protocols, as well as making certain we were strong swimmers before he allowed us out to snorkel. He even gave us a few tips to improve our time out.

Finally, just have to say, there's nothing more pleasant than sleeping on a boat. Rocking with the waves lulled me into the deepest sleeps I've had in a long time.

“A worthwhile experience”
Reviewed 18 January 2016 for a stay in January 2016

The Skipper is Robin and the First Mate is Sandra. Robin takes care of everything to do with the boat. and its dinghy. Sandra is an expert cook and, may I say, "Assistant Sailor & General Helper".
If you want to find out what is involved in owning and sailing a 40ft catamaran then this is your chance. The best part of our 6 days aboard was the extremely convivial atmosphere. This professionally run boat was a pleasure to be on.
As a 17 stone 70 year old unfit townie, I found it difficult to adjust to our cabin and tiny bathroom below ..... It was a little easier for my wife. However, one must remember that this yacht is what it is and not much different to others of the same size. The seas during sailing can on occasions be rough for landlubbers. Sandra's remedies are on offer but I would advise also taking over the counter medication for sea sickness. Robin is a most understanding skipper and a seaman who takes no chances. Alcoholic drinks are not part of the all inclusive ticket and carry a standard charge of 5 EC for a beer and 10 EC for spirits or wines. Soft drinks are free.
For keen snorkelers there is plenty of opportunity. This trip is an antidote to a hotel stay. These 2 lovely people make your stay worthwhile. My compliments to both of them for their boundless energy.

“Great bucket list trip, food, snorkeling with turtles, stingrays & cuttlefish, picnics on practically empty beaches”

Our family of 4 (including 2 tweens) had a great week aboard Yacht Ngoma! We flew to Grenada, took cab to a beach bar in Prickly Bay, went on dinghy to the boat where Sandra had dinner waiting for us. Slept then during the week island hopped to St George's Bay, Carriacou, Sandy Island, Union Island, Tobago Cays, Mayreau, Chatham Bay and back to Grand Anse Beach at Grenada. Was great to have an experienced Captain with lots of local knowledge & tips, a great cook who made us everything from oatmeal to homemade bread & scones, and even packed us a cooler to take ashore for picnics on virtually private beaches. We swam with turtles, snorkeled & saw beautiful sunsets, napped, and read. Perfect vacay!
