This restaurant serves the resort as well as the public. There is a good selection of dishes, with daily specials ensuring a good variety. Service is excellent, ambience is good (musical background can be a little variable), and there is a reasonable, but not excellent, choice of wine. Not cheap, but very good.

I hate to report this but I was actually disappointed with Rhodes. After reading many good reviews and how the chef was trained by Gary Rhodes, maybe my expectations were just too high? One of us had the barracuda which we were told was actually rainbow runner and should have come with calamari -- it did not. Two of us had the stir fried lobster and rice noodles and were surprised by a thick brown sauce over chewy lobster and rice noodles and no vegetable of any kind stir fried in. What was stir fried here? In addition, for a fine dining restaurant, I expect fine service. We were visited very infrequently by any server and the nice bottle of wine we ordered sat in the wine/ice bucket while our glasses sat empty. Maybe because we were spoiled by the Beach Club restaurant at the same resort, where Chef Mark makes dishes to die for. So unfortunately our most expensive dinner in Grenada was the most disappointing.

The Rhodes restaurant at the Calabash was perfect in a lovely elegant setting. The service was as you would expect from a high end restaurant. Was a perfect way to celebrate the last night of our holiday

The setting here is wonderful and the food equally enjoyable. We had lunch down by the beach on 2 occasions, each time equally as good. The food is excellent with a good choice of local dishes, each one cooked to perfection. The staff were attentive and new their jobs.
