This hotel was very basic and rudimentary in amenities. I read the reviews on Trip Advisor before travelling and expected much worse. Do not go by some of the pictures people have posted. The lobby and dining room were nice. The rooms, like the rest of the property were dated, and had small issues (ex. broken blinds, waste basket lid, etc.) The television did also not work properly.
Despite that, the room was relatively clean with comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked great, and I was able to get the room very cold in only about 30 minutes.
The breakfast was probably the least pleasant part of my stay. The buffet-style meal included an assortment of fruits, extremely dry pastries, meats, crackers, and breads. There was cereal but no milk or bowls. Later in the week there was an omelette bar, which was one of the few items that I would recommend.
Note that the outlets only have two prongs, which prevented me from charging my laptop inside my room. There is a computer in the lobby which can be used if you buy an internet card, but it wasn't working at the time of my visit. Like what you should expect in Cuba, there is no wireless internet.More
