We spent a week at the Caribbean Club Bonaire Resort and LOVED it! The resort was off the beaten path of the airport and had a very personal touch with the staff. Can't say enough about the staff....friendly and accommodating. The grounds were beautiful and the nightly food delicious! The island is small! We were a quick distance from all the main attractions. Most people come to Bonaire for diving, but there is so much MORE to the country than diving. The terrain is NOT tropical, which was a shock to us....mostly Cadushy Cacti and prickly stuff, but we found beauty and amazing sights. You HAVE to rent a jeep or truck, if you wish to see the country, as the roads are definitely 3rd world. Some of the highlights are the National Park, Salt Mines, Slave Huts, cities of Ricon and Kralendijk, Kleine Bonaire, and the amazing coastline. I love birds and I got some fantastic shots. The flamingos and parrots I will never forget...in abundance! One of our favorite places to visit was the Cadushy Liqueur Distillery.....you will never look at a cactus the same. Unlike Curacao the churches were NOT locked, and we enjoyed exploring them. Take the time to explore back roads and you will be surprised the beauty and uniqueness of the area that you will find. We LOVED Bonaire....preferring it over Curacao...more laid back and much more clean, environmental friendly, and welcoming.

We are repeat visitors to Bonaire
This was our first time staying at Caribbean Club. We found the staff to be very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. We stayed in 221. It was close enough to the restaurant/bar to pick up the WIFI and had space in the garden to string up our hammock for afternoon naps. A great place to stay if you're diving, birding, or just relaxing on a Caribbean holiday!

We were there for local food and i was trying to talk my family out of it. I am glad they did not listen. The buffet style of local food was perfect and very reasonable. The lady who served us, i wish i recalled her name, was very polite and kind. I for sure would return to this place.

Room Tip: We were there for dinner and not to stay.

A wonderful resort just a little outside of the main city away from cruise ship crowds. Staff very helpful. Very clean. Kids loved the pools. Very close to dive and snorkel sites....can walk to Oil Slick. Great facilities for diving and snorkeling.

Clean room, well-appointed, dive wash tubs and lockers. Nice patio off room, nice grounds. No blankets? They arranged truck rental, and dive tanks, and helped with equipment rental when we had a problem. Decent breakfast included. Typical Bonaire service overall - ok, but not overly accommodating (no extra effort or niceties) Oil Slick Leap dive site nearby, but almost too far to gear up and walk. Away from the town, but the town is quiet anyway.
Staff was knowledgeable about dive sites and amenities. Club is part of Buddy Dive which seems to be the busiest and best equipped dive operation on the island.
Wifi occasional - not good enough for work (if you're work in Bonaire!)
Airport service and truck rental worked out well.

Room Tip: 2nd floor for Ocean view
