“Has to be done once...”

We were fortunate enought to be taken for lunch here by an officionado of their burgers, who felt we would have missed out had we not eaten here, as much due to the setting as to the food. The views across the immaculately groomed golf course and to the sea, completely unspoiled by any development, are stunning, and the restaurant itself has a light, airy, decadent feel to it. We had a lovely afternoon with great food; nothing pretentious, but everything done well. Given the prices it may be our only visit - but it proved a memorable one.

“quick look at Sandy Lane”
Reviewed 6 February 2012

We were told we could not visit Sandy Lane, but when I phoned the operator stated that we could. The security was fairly 'tight, but we could walk to the beach, visit the shops & ask questions at the spa. Lovely grounds, subdued ambience & perfect pink flamingo colors. ?? worth the $$$--not sure??
