Azia Restaurant & Lounge
Certificate of Excellence
Price range: US$5 - US$19
Description: Azia Restaurant and Lounge is our newest experience. This new concept will definitely bring a great new addition to the nightlife here in Aruba. Our concept offers Asian cuisine, tapas style. Giving you the freedom to savor as many Asian dishes your palate requires. We posses mainly influences from India, Indonesia, China, Korea and Japan. In Azia you will find many new trendy statements that are quite in fashion in the culinary world today. We offer a community table that can seat up to 24 people at the same time, great for couples, or even for large groups. There are also six private booths, for a more intimate setting and all this with our own handmade Indonesian gold leaf Buddha made by acclaimed artists especially designed for the island of Aruba. Azia is also a lounge, we choose this because while remodeling Confession Club, into Azia we decided to leave the nightclub feel, and create quite the lounge atmosphere, over a hundred indirect soft lights in Azia that makes our experience quite the different feel, one that you will definitely want to enjoy again and again. For those looking for a more peaceful tranquil lounge, Azia also boast its very own Zen-garden if you'd like a more private and peaceful night out.

The Tom Yang Martini was outstanding. They have happy hour until 8pm so our first cocktail was 1/2 price. We ordered the oysters and thought they were some of the best that we have ever had. We ordered both the yellowtail and salmon sashimi. They were both incredibly fresh, melt in your mouth delicious. We also enjoyed the Peking duck spring rolls. The spicy tuna Bon Bon was good but they used way too much rice. I was glad we didn't order any other rolls. We really enjoyed the quality and favors of everything we ordered. Vanessa, our waitress, made excellent recommendations.

My girlfriend and I missed our reservations at another restaurant so we decided to grab dinner by our hotel. Since were from NY we eat sushi all the time and after spending a week on the island we really started to crave it so we decided to try out this very trendy up scale looking restaurant that reminded us of some of the biggest asian fusion restaurants we have back home. To our surprise, the food was not as good as the decor. The lotus salad which claimed to come with asian ginger dressing was really a mustard dressing that didn't have any hint of asian flavoring to it. We ordered a salmon roll and sent it back, we believe they tried to serve smoked salmon as sushi grade salmon. The chicken wings weren't bad but the Mongolian beef is the only thing we actually enjoyed. Overall was dissatisfied and do not recommend this restaurant.

One of our new favorites! What a neat, hip place with hidden, private outdoor seating and incredible lighting. Great variety of tapas, and offer gluten free! The flavors were outstanding. Loved every part.

Our group of 10 had a fantastic time. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty. This is a Asian fusion Tapas restaurant. All the dishes we had were very tasty. The service was #1, our waitress Strawberry took care of us for more than three hours with over 40 drinks and 10+ dishes with no mistakes. She was knowledgeable and friendly. All of us HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. We found the drinks here to be the best of all the places we tried. The happy hour half price was fantastic.

We were looking for a tapas style restaurant, and found Azia. We enjoyed sushi rolls, wonton soup, and thai noodles.
