The hotel is two buildings. Our building was a little dated. The other building was refurbished already. Looked gorgeous. I assume the building we were in will be refurbished. Room was great. Clean. big enough. Kitchen was very functional. The cleaning of the rooms costs money. Be careful.
Lots of good amenities. Pool is best in Aruba. Lazy river was a huge bonus. Make sure to bring a nice float - you will not regret this tip.
Bad news: Getting chairs at the pool/beach is a silly nightmare. Free palapas are available 4pm of previous day and 7am of the day. You will need to get there at least an hour or 2 hours before that and get in line. I know - crazy. You can pay for beach palapas ahead - tip: do it as soon as you get there, cause they sell out. Chairs at pool uses a chair tag that you get when you check in. Use them each day to tag chairs. Get there before 7am....more like 6am if you want the best locations. I know - crazy.
Other than that, make sure you take Day 1 and walk the beach too see what activities are available. There are differences in prices, times, and qualities. Use your best common sense.
