If your looking for a resort experience, this is not the place for you, but if you want Top Notch customer service, clean and you want to be in the Heart of all the action this place is for you. The ladies at the front desk,Judy,Amarilys,Jessica,Mil-En, Bellman: Percy, Pool Bartender Cynthia, and the entire housekeeping staff, THESE PEOPLE GIVE YOU THE RITZ CARLTON EXPERIENCE!! I remember each of their names because they left a lasting impression. A lot of people in prior reviews complained about the breakfast, its not a full american breakfast, but coffee was great, fresh Oj and a tasty bread basket. If you want more they have a full breakfast menu, switch was also awesome. Or you can explore Salt and Pepper, or Dushi bagels, or Holiday Inn breakfast buffet!!!

Room Tip: Rooms on fourth floor are newly renovated, great shower

3-star hotel in the middle of a bunch of 5-star hotels. Clean and close to everything in the Palm Beach area. This area is known as the High Rise Hotel area, so this hotel sits amoung the giants. It has "beach access" but the beach is on the other side of the Hyatt. You have to walk down a long driveway to get there. With all the beautiful beaches nearby, you should go offsite anyways. Pool area is nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There are no rooms with ocean views, only views of the High Rise Hotels.

Room Tip: Rooms ending in 05, 06, and 07 will have the best views.

I stayed at the Brickell Bay in Palm Beach area, it is not beachfront but a short five minute walk to beautiful Palm Beach. Plenty of things to do on the beach, you can book tours, water sport rentals.
I stayed at Brickell for one week in December. Travelled solo. It rained often but no storm passed by. The beach had no seeweed, small waves. Very pleasant.
NIGHTLIFE: Hotel is a very short walk to some of the nearby restaurants, bars, ice cream stand, shops. Nearest restaurant is a 1 minute walk adjacent to the Brickell, called Joe & Giuseppe which is where you hand the waitress your free breakfast voucher if you have a booking that includes breakfast.
BREAKFAST: free breakfast is the same every day. A croissant, banana bread, a slice of toast, very good grapes and fantastic orange juice. It is an ok breakfast.

No need for a car.
I even walked to a small grocery store, bought some bananas, oranges, snacks, drinks. There was a small fridge in the room which was very convenient.
ROOM: I stayed on the third floor. The fourth floor is the top floor. I missed not having a patio door to air out the room. It is not a very large room, but considering the price of this hotel comparing to the others in the area it was overall a good value.
The mattresses were on the soft side. Kay the room supervisor was very helpful in helping find a room that had a firm mattress. The cleaning ladies were pleasant . in fact at this hotel, if I had to rate this property for the staff it is definitely a 5 on 5.

There was a McDonalds and a Wendys very close to the hotel if you are on a tight budget. I enjoyed the Fishes and More restaurant. I had a good clam chowder there.
Restaurants in Aruba can be quite pricey.
POOL: Very nice. As I checked in the hotel, the young lady working at the pool was very welcoming.

BEACH:
To get to the beach, the bellhop offered to drive me to the beach as I approached entrance. The rest of the days I did not mind to walk as the beach was a lot closer than I thought. Both bellhop gentleman were very kind, professional. Used the golfcart service only one day the rest of the days I walked as the beach was about 5 minute walk. The chairs reserved for Brickell were not in the shade except for a small spot. Sandra rents parasols in the same area. Disappointed around 4 4:3o the beach attendant takes back the chairs. There is a diesel smell from the watersport right near the Brickell Bay section.

CHECK-IN CHECK OUT - FRONT DESK: All the ladies at the FRONT desk were very sweet and helpful in giving info of where to go. Sharifa, Amarillys, Jessica at the front desk really made my stay pleasant KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK !

CURRENCY; BRING US DOLLARS, small bills are useful as you get your change in Arubin Florin currency quite often.

In general, I am glad I picked the Brickell for easy access to restaurants, shops, etc.

Room Tip: An upper floor is best. Third or fourth all the way at the end of the corridor away from the disco bar.

This hotel isn't a fancy upscale place but it was worth the money paid. The staff was excellent. The hotel and room itself was slightly outdated but that didn't matter to me because my plan was not to spend too much time in the room. The room was very humid and there was a dehumidifier in the room for use (no instructions however). The pool was great and the bartender at the pool was also helpful. This hotel is located within walking distance to the beach, all types of restaurants and several other hotels. The mall is a quick 7-10 min walk as well. The location was absolutely perfect. If I return to Aruba, I will be staying here again.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is really friendly, specially Persie and the girls from reception. They did every single effort to grant our requests.
it's not in front of the beach, but you just need to walk some steps.
You just need to know that they charge for electricity...it cost me 66 dollars per one week. It was inconvenient because nobody let me know in advance.
Anyway, I recommend it.

Room Tip: Deluxe suites seem to be bigger and better
