This was a timeshare exchange, Divi for Divi. We went Feb 25-Mar 3rd. When we arrived we were told our room was not ready and waited 'till 5:00 to get in. We went with another couple and were in a 1 bedroom. On Sunday we were able to upgrade to a 2 bedroom on the top floor and thought it would be better. On Monday morning we reported to the office that there was a rattling noise in our bedroom that was loud all night due to the strong wind. There was nothing done about it. Our cleaning service was very poor. No sheets changed during the week and washcloths were never left. When we asked the front desk about this, they said they should have been changed on Wednesday. We had to call every afternoon to get some. We began to feel that by the time they got to the top, their supplies were gone and they didn't feel the need to come back.
The pool is really a kid pool being only 4ft deep. The swim up bar was not very appealing either. The beach, while being beautiful, was always accupied by 60 somethings and took all the chairs by 4am. The wind was very strong this year so it made the beach unappealing anyways.
The activities were nonexisting in the evening. We could here parties and music down the beach every night from other resorts and spent our time there.
We did spend a day at the Divi Golf and Beach Resort, which is were we own but found the Phoenix to be a disappointment.

You will get a great room with nice kitchen. Nice beach. Month of Feb and March the beach is windy everyday. 20 mile an hour winds all day, but it beats no wind.
Someday WiFi will be complimentary and strong signal. We are still here actually.
Overall- great place. Especially when you pay much less than the other resorts nearby.

We have been to Aruba several times, but this was our first year as timeshare owners at the Divi Phoenix. We had a wonderful 2 week stay and really enjoyed the facilities. The pools are great and the swim-up bar is lots of fun. The beach is gorgeous and clean. We dd not have a problem getting towels or huts, although we chose not to sit right by the waters edge. The staff is friendly and any request we had for service was attended to, along with a follow-up call to be sure the service was provided. We cant wait to return!

Well, our 2nd trip to Aruba Phoenix Resort was even more beautiful that the last time we were there. First trip in 2009 while they were doing construction on the new section. Now, complete and just amazingly beautiful. We are timeshare owners of Divi in St. Maarten but find that we just LOVE Aruba and it's beauty. We stayed in the old tower again which was perfect as we had the most beautiful view of Palm Beach from the 11th floor! Being a professional photographer I could not stop taking pictures of this beautiful resort. The pool and it changing colors at night was breathtaking! "Pure Beach" and it's beauty! The beautiful beach chairs on the other end of the resort just continued to fill my eyes with beauty. We rented a car for 2 days to explore the island again going to Baby Beach and every beach around the entire island! This island is beautiful! Divi Phoenix is so great not just because of it beauty, but its convenience. Shopping & resturants on the street behind the resort and resturants galour on the beach side made every day and every evening a breathtaking moment that will be in our minds forever. This is the island that we want to bring our kids to in 2014 to celebrate graduation and life. The convenience of the area is what will make us want to bring the kids. Now 25, 23 & 15! The buffet at the resort is awesome, dinner and breakfast buffet! Eating breakfast on those beautiful table & chairs watching the sailboats go by the turquioise sea. Well, I will just have to attach some pictures so you know what I mean!
Love this place and it's beauty! Contact me if you have any questions! We will know the answers for sure!

Room Tip: view from the old tower facing north is the best but DON'T take our room!!!!!
