The same kind of huge Chinese styled tourist group trap restaurant that you find at any charter destination all over the world. Bland food, high prices, nothing genuine. Proximity to the mall and high rise hotels ensures a steady flow of fresh meat.

The food was good to very good. The service was excellent. We arrived right when they opened at 6:00 and were seated right away with no reservation. The waiter was attentive and humorous. The portions were adequate, but not as big as in the US. Expect to pay around $22 for a main course, or more for specialty dishes.

JHY and Blossom's (in the Hyatt) are owned by the same person. Both delicious but they have a different feel. Blossoms is geared toward cook on the table meals and JHY is aimed at classic Chinese and sushi. JHY is modern and trendy inside and isn't your typical greasy Chinese restaurant. All the dishes are fresh and come out piping hot. Definitely a great place to go with a family/group because the food is family style. We ordered a beef, chicken, shrimp and fried rice dishes for the table. We had PLENTY of food (there were 5 of us). We could have done without the friend rice because they bring a huge dish of white rice out for the table and we all ended up eating that instead. The one caution about the restaurant is ordering sushi. We usually go there and order some Chinese and some sushi, but our waiter told us it would take in to an hour to get any sushi. We didn't understand this so the manager came to our table and explained that at that time they had a pile of sushi orders and only 1 chef to make them. The manager was very apologetic and sent over 2 complementary appetizers for the table (the crab salad is delicious and I don't even like crab). He also followed up with us at the end of the meal to apologize and thank us for sticking around. Great guy. I would highly recommend this restaurant for families and groups. I wouldn't bank on the sushi here, but the Chinese is great!

We were here two years ago and enjoyed our meal so we decided to go back, this time bringing my mother in law who loves Chinese food. We again had a great meal. It was very empty in the restaurant and we are not quite sure why. The food is very good and fresh. We ordered sushi, soup, a few entrees, the pork appetizer, etc. Everything comes out very fresh. Vegetables are nice and crisp. The food is nicely seasoned and sauces are very good and not too heavy. If you are looking for really good Asian foo on the island in a great location I would recommend this.

This restaurant is one of my favorite Chinese/Asian cuisine...they serve the best orange chicken in town!! Must try! They offer you a warm towel before and after your meal great touch. The service is good and the ambiance is also very nice.
