We went there the last day, late in the afternoon on our last trip to Aruba. It is a very unique place where you can relax, walk around the beautiful butterflies. One recommendation is to go early in the morning to see more actvity. The tours are worth the money, 15.00, bit you learn a lot of interesting facts about the butterflies.

Reason to visit:
When here while on holiday with my nice who lives here

Location Description:
Near the boulevard strip of the hotels so near the beach. It is easy accessible and if you are in the strip location ( RUI hotel etc) you can cross over en go for the tour. The entrance is very nice the farm itself is nice but a bit small ( big enough for the butterflies!!!)

Parking options:
You can park your car without parking ticket.

We were welcomed heartily the entrance fee for adult is around 15 dollar and children around 8 dollar. We had to wait like 5 minutes before the tour started. We could wait inside the farm so we could take a look before starting the tour. The tour are in different languages. Depending on the group that is in. We had it in Dutch since everyone was Dutch. Real locals speak Dutch, English Spanish and Papiamento.

Service level:
The tour guide was very passionate about butterflies and gave us a lof of information and showed us from the eggs, the pops, etc. Very interesting! You can ask everything and as they hope to achieve with this tour is that we are informed and we all can contribute to help the butterflies out.

Price quality:
Is fine especially since this is not funded by the government as I understood

Plus & Negative points
-See butterflies up close even on your hand since you can feed them
-nice and passionate staff

We went there on the day before we left. Big mistake! We should have gone there at the beginning of our vacation so we could go back on Wednesday or Thursday to watch them "hatch" from their chrysalis at dawn. This place felt like heaven on earth. My mom was a huge butterfly lover and recently passed away. We went there to honor her memory and wow...what a memory we have. It was like being hugged by hundreds of butterflies. Whenever I go to Aruba, I will make at least one or two trips there. GREAT FOR THE SOUL! Thank you Butterfly Farm. Wonderful employees too. Very knowledgeable and kind.

We walked from our lodging in Palm Beach. The farm is small, tucked away. With all the wind and sun, this was a wonderful break from the beach scene, with an education in butterflies, moths, life cycles and serenity. You will never see so many butterflies at one place. Truly amazing

We really enjoyed this visit! All sorts of butterflies were flying around and some would even land on us!
An educational tour was provided and there was a very nice shop at the place.
(While my wife remained longer than I,I enjoyed myself watching the local, colorful birds, and a whole bunch of lizards out adjacent to the parking area.
Absolutely worth a visit!
