Came across these cottages last year whilst searching for somewhere to stay while I waited for a LIAT flight to Guadeloupe. I fell in love with the place.
I fell in love with the kindness of the staff, their willingness to help and give details of things that were happening to enable you to participate in their island’s culture.
With this in mind I decided to spend a whole week there and invited a friend. Once again, we received the same kind of service. If anything went wrong there was always someone there to help even if was a temporary measure.
They have well kept grounds, a small pool. Beautiful views, nice rooms..well equipped kitchen. Even cooked a roast chicken dinner there.
My only beef is that maybe they could have a small tuck shop where you could buy some essentials on arrival for those who are unable to do the hill and walk down to the small supermarket.
We will definitely come again, Dickensons.
You know I love room 1!
