We stayed here for the very first time and we really did enjoy our stay in unit 30A. As many others have stated about the property- these units are individually owned and can be quite different experiences.
Our unit was really quite nice. It looked like a cute, cheery beach villa. Everything was nicely updated. I was a little nervous about the sign in the kitchen warning about leaving food out or in the trash and ants AND the can of bug spray in the kitchen but thankfully only saw one almost dead roach. Not so bad considering.
My only criticism about this unit was the upstairs air conditioner. If you left the bedroom door closed- it was nice in the bedroom but the upstairs bathroom was a sauna. No way was I going to get ready and dry hair in that bathroom. If you opened the bedroom door to help cool off the bathroom then the bedroom didn't stay cool.
The grounds are really pretty and peaceful gardens. The staff were all very nice to us and since it is not a hotel per say the convenience store on sight is great for quick, simple staples. There is a big grocery that's not far but better to drive there.
The restaurants nearby make it convenient to grab a bite to eat but we went to the store and ate in a couple of nights and most mornings.
The beach is nice and so close. Feels like a private little beach and if you go from one end to another it's a nice little walk for some exercise. There is no work out facility on sight.
I always stay in full service hotels and of course I like all the amenities that comes with that experience but staying and just chilling- was a nice change of pace.
I would stay in this unit or other units that I thoroughly checked out at Antigua Village. Overall it was a very pleasant vacation.

Our party of 15 stayed recently in A.V. There were three year olds and a 90 year old! Everyone enjoyed their stay from the beautiful gardens and beach side location to the wonderful friendly and helpful staff. We had been a little concerned about our 90-year-old Grandma but the staff couldn’t have been more caring, ready to provide help with a wheelchair or whatever help was needed. At the other end of the age scale the children were so happy between the beach and the pool. There are two lovely restaurants on the beach, minutes walk away, a small village shop and a lady selling food and fruit from her car, this really is a lovely village Antigua style.

This was the off season so it was not crowded; easy to get a palypa and lounger on the beach or chair at pool. Rooms were comfortable, but dated. All employees were very friendly and helpful. You do need to take excursions or taxis from here. Driving yourself around Antigua is challenging. Can snorkel from the beach and can swim out far to see conch and star fish. Some noise from Sandals Resort next door. Vendors are on beach in Antigua, but are respectful.

We have been time share owners for over 20 years. The staff here is wonderful. They make sure your stay is free of any stress and keep the grounds and rooms immaculate. The location is one of the best on the island and you are literally steps from the beautiful Dickenson Bay beach. Two excellent restaurants are also steps away as is a small convenience store on premise. The resort has the classic Caribbean feel with beautiful landscaping and design.

Room Tip: Polside, beachfront, and garden views are the 3 options. Ground floor only and multi-levels available.
