I won this, so I can’t speak to its value for the cost. It was very fun, and had a solid focus on safety. There are “12+1” (as they say) zip segments. There’s probably more that I didn’t see. I’d certainly do it again.

We opted for the zip line and kayak tour which also included lunch, snorkelling and a visit to Bird Island. We got picked up from our hotel and also returned at the end of the day.

The zip-lining was fun although not necessarily the most exciting as there was a lot of waiting (understandable) and the zip lines felt relatively short.

The afternoon of kayaking and snorkelling more than made up for it though and far exceeded our expectations.

We stopped off for lunch of local Caribbean food which was delicious and then moved onto Stingray City where we met our guide for the afternoon. We boarded a boat which took us to the kayaks located in the mangroves. We had a 40 minute guided kayak tour through the mangroves at a steady pace (so no need to be an experienced kayaker). Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and would occasionally jump out of his kayak to show us various aquatic creatures such as a sea star, sea cucumber, an upside down jellyfish and a sea urchin, which we were also allowed to handle.

We then took a high speed boat ride to Bird Island where we spent 30 mins snorkelling around the coral just off the beach. Following this we moved onto the beach where we were given rum punch (more rum than punch!!) and allowed to explore.

The whole experience lasted most of the day but was definitely worth it.

Really enjoyed this zipline adventure. This was a shore excursion organized from a cruise ship. The staff was very safety conscious, but fun at the same time. Drivers who were contracted to get us from ship and back were great tour guides and vehicles were clean and well maintained.
