The room itself was spacious and with high quality luxury furnishings. I remember having a completely unbroken night's sleep both nights. One of those rare instances when you get the level of luxury befitting a top hotel in an informal setting. Excellent service and food in both the restaurant and the bar and within walking distance of Kew Gardens.

It's a pub first and foremost, so make sure you know that. But it's a nice pub, one that I've been to on many occasions for a drink.

It's in a great location, within a walk of Kew Gardens tube or Kew Train station.

It's a short walk to Kew Gardens itself.

We got married in Kew gardens and a few guests stayed here that night and all had nothing but positives to say.

It's not a 5* hotel, but considering it's more of a B&B and the great location I don't think you can do much better.

Very impressed with this place. Yes it is a pub with rooms but the quality of what they offer is exemplary.

Staff are extremely well trained being polite, helpful and efficient in all departments from reception to bar through to the restaurant.

The room was extremely clean and very fresh in terms of the quality of furnishings and decor. It was modern and very well furnished with some really nice touches such as a basket of goodies for the guest including wine, crisps, nuts and biscuits.

Modern and clean bathroom with lots of nice smelly stuff and bits that you would normally associate with a four or five star hotel room. In addition coffee and tea plus sky TV - all in all a top end offering.

English breakfast was also again very well presented and delicious.

Pub was decent as well with good food (gastro style – you can eat in a restaurant or out in the pub) and football on telly so really what is not to like.

Dear ITTS

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us and scored us so highly.
We try to make sure all guests leave with a happy positive relaxed experience.

Although it should be noted tea - coffee - biscuits and mini chocolates are free the other items in our Mini Bar and hamper are in fact chargeable!!

Kind regards

We stayed for 2 nights, and chose this hotel as it was rated best in the area.
Even though it was expensive by our standards, we thought we'd treat ourselves.
The staff, location, room decor, room facilities, wifi, breakfasts, meals and bar were all superb.
We were disappointed with the room we were allocated.
The only view was of the neighbor's wall about a meter from our window.
The room space was much smaller and more cramped than we expected from viewing the website photos, with nowhere to store folded clothes.
The worst part was the room had 2 fire doors fastened to the internal wall of the room, which thudded every time another guest or a member of staff used them. This was only a problem at night, as each time someone used the doors, we were woken up.
On the first night we were disturbed a number of times throughout the night by fire and guest doors banging.
The room experience was such a shame, as otherwise, the hotel is definitely worth of 5/5.

Room Tip: Avoid room 21 - small, no view and lots of door noise.

Dear IdleBaldy

I am glad you enjoyed your stay here on the whole. Although I hope you will appreciate
for our guests safety we have to have fire doors which to serve their purpose are very heavy. As much as we would expect all our guests to respect the noise level when opening and closing their doors we cant always police this!

On the subject of views as with every hotel all rooms have different views of the area on the whole I would say that we are very lucky here that 99% of our rooms are a scenic view if sometimes slightly obscured by our Kew Green friends around us.

Please feel free to personally email me if you are coming again and I will endeavor to find you a room more suited to your needs .

Kind Regards

Kerry

Great hotel, underground parking about 20 spaces, bar/restaurant at front rooms behind and up on a few floors, we stayed on second floor, room was very nice a good size and very quiet, large bed, and very homely, reception desk helpful, our sky wouldn't work but they soon fixed it. Breakfast in the morning was a range of cold food and toast, you could order a cooked meal but this is extra.

Dear Matt K

Thank you for rating us so highly and I so glad you enjoyed your stay.

The breakfast is all inclusive of your room rate including hot and cold the reason a price is on the menu is done so for non guests wishing to take breakfast with us in the morning.

I do hope you will come and visit us again soon and take full advantage of the breakfast menu!

Kind regards

Kerry
