Description: The Corbie Inn pub/restaurant was refurbished and re-opened in October 2011. It is situated close to the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway line. In the summer you will be able to waive to the passing trains on their way to and from Birkhill Clay Mine from the beer garden. The objective and vision has always been to offer the best of real ales and cask beers from local, regional and national breweries at value-for-money prices. Beers are available in pint, 1/2 pint and 1/3 pint measures so you can taste & try and enjoy a selection from the 6 ales on tap. The pub also offers a family-friendly atmosphere where children are welcome and can be served meals until 9pm when accompanied by an adult. A children's menu is available but children are welcome to choose and can be served half-portion meals of their choice from the main menu. Booking for meals is not a requirement but is sometimes advisable especially at weekends and if a set time is preferred.

The Corbie Inn has everything you would want from your local - excellent real ale, including their own microbrewery, good pub food & friendly and efficient staff. We attended a function for nearly 50 people yesterday and the staff served an excellent 2 course meal without delay. It even has a lovely secluded Beer Garden, a real Suntrap on a nice day!

A midweek catch up with a friend was a great excuse for lunch here. The menu is varied and the specials interesting I particularly like their generous salads

good atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely surroundings with the steam railway not to far away and steam train passing at xmas, easter etc, and a lovely beer garden out back. only thing that I have fault with is the price of the alcohol. Even though the food is really exceptionally great value I think the drinks could be a bit lower priced!
