This is the second time we have stayed at Charly's, first time we loved it, food was great, and the warm friendly family atmosphere, really made it for us, this time it was just ok, mainly due to the staff, who were young travellers, that do voluntary work, for there room, but they have no experience, and really couldn't be bothered, constantly sat on there phone, they are not doing this lovely little guest hourse any favours.

I stayed in the hostel dorm at Charly's for a few weeks. Location is great because you are near the main town (not stranded out on the island) and have a great view of the lake.

Ibrahim and his staff know how to make you feel like family. From the wonderful breakfast in the mornings to the dinners with a view, you won't want to leave. In fact, I heard many people say time and time again that they wished they had known to stay multiple days as they were only passing through. Ibrahim has many wonderful excursions he can arrange for you to canyons, hiking, biking, Sagalassos (ancient city), Salda lake, and more.

I recommend staying in this lovely town at Charlys for a few days to explore, relax, and enjoy your holiday!

We stayed at this excellent Pension for 3 nights and then went away walking and camping before returning for a few nights. On our return we said to eachother 'how nice it was to be home'. Obviously this is not our home but it shows you how welcome Ibrihim and his family make you feel. We had a lovely room overlooking the lake and the outstanding breakfast is served on the he rooftop terrace. Eveni g meals are equally nice and all cooked to order. Ibrihim has a wealth of knowledge about the local area and can transport you to a number of local walks that you can do as day walks. Egirdir itself is a beautiful town and well worth a visit.
