Fun park is probably the wrong term for this attraction. But I'm not sure what I would call it!

The factory tour was great, informative and very real look around ( book in advance!) nice touch to build your own figure

As well as a outdoor and indoor play area, cafe, and a well stocked shop there is a great toy area. An endless supply of playmobile to play with with the children , thousands of figures and vehicles - great fun for even the big children. It took me back to my childhood! Oh and the kids loved it too!

It's a large playing area with indoor and outdoor grounds and cafeteria. The outdoor playground is from wood and metal so for this time of the year not everything1 is practical - for example, the slider burns on touch. The inside is well organized into age appropriate playing areas. The staff regularly checks the premises and organizes the toys (if the kids didn't... which most don't do for themselves). There are plenty of toys and themes - animals, houses, cars and trucks, castles, police, firefighters, luxury living etc. There was a birthday party with approximately 20 kids and it was not interrupting the rest of the kids. Since I read some reviews before the visit, we brought our own food. We had to go and eat outside at noon with burning sun. So... if we are not allowed to eat our own food (for whatever reason we had to bring it) they must at least cover the area on the only! entrance table available for the purpose. The food in the cafeteria, however, looked OK for a place like this - chips, sandwiches, pizza, drinks... They have a kids toilet and baby changing area.
Overall, we are happy with the stay.

Not value for money. Cafeteria to expensive. If you go take water bottles with you because it cost Eur 1.25 for a small water bottle

We enjoyed it from the first moment as we set foot on the ground of the facility. The attraction offers fun from the toddlers to the older ones. The toys are separated by age groups where the kids can build by their fantasy. Animation programs are available as well.

The weakest point is the buffet - oily soaked fries, dry bakery, chewy pastizzi, not a wide selection of food... (most probably a local subcontractor who provides this service for the attraction), and dirty.

All together the attraction is an excellent place to spend some time with your children on any day.

My family made a cruise stop for a day in Valletta, and I while researching options on things to do with kids, Playmobil factory on Malta Island came up. Both of my kids love Playmobil and have tons of their sets at home, so naturally a visit to the factory and accompanying store made sense.

We wanted to take a factory tour and were told to arrive there at least 15 minutes prior. We actually arrived there more than an hour before our scheduled tour time, so were able to check out all the merchandise at the store, the kids could play in any of the Playmobil stations inside, or get something from the cafe. When you pay admission for the factory tour, you get a 10% discount in the shop as well as a drink and dessert in the cafe.

The tour itself was interesting and enlightening, to see how all the characters and their outfits are made, all the way down to the packaging. The guide started off by allowing each person to assemble their own souvenir Playmobil character upon entering the building. This was a nice keepsake for the kids to take home.

The park and factory is about a 45-minute ride from Valletta. We started off by taking a hop-on/hop-off bus from the cruise terminal area to a historical site on the island. Once we were finished there, we found a cab driver who got us to Playmobil in 25 minutes. Once we were done, we decided to take the public bus back to Valletta by the cruise terminal. There is a bus stop just down and across the street from Playmobil.

The day we were in Valletta it was extremely hot, which made this indoor activity welcome for my kids and myself. If you or your kids like Playmobil products and plan to visit Malta Island, you should consider a tour here!
