This feels like being invited into someone’s front room to eat. It is very homely with a mother and daughter team front of house. The daughter especially was delightful and spoke very good English.
Two menus were on offer - the daily special and the a la carte. We chose the former. A hearty pasta dish came first and was one of four choices we were given. Secondi was either chicken or pork. We choose chicken and we’re not disappointed.
We were stuffed full - Italians seem to eat so much more than Brits!!!!! So we passed on desert. The bill came to €31 - €12 pp for the daily special and the rest on water and two glasses of good house wine. This was excellent value.
Don’t go expecting haute cuisine and don’t go with anything less than an empty stomach. A good honest restaurant with charming service.
