This national park is easy to get around in on your car or walking sites. Different times of the year is when you get to see a lot of wildlife there.

Stopped for a few pics for my grandson since he had never been to the mountains. Best place we visited the entire trip. Saw some Elk and it made his day.

Not far from Gatlinburg. Nice quiet drive, lots of opportunities to stop and enjoy the mountain air. Even saw a wild turkey. Lots of trees and a peaceful view.

Watched the sun set here while munching on dinner - great stop (drove out from Gatlinburg). Parking was easy and there weren't too many people, still busy though. Sky lights up when the sun goes down, get your camera ready!

One of our favorite spots to watch the sunset in the Smokies. Very easy to get to from downtown and it gets crowded but there is always enough room to park your car.
