This Premier Inn has just been recently decorated to a very high standard. The staff were helpful and good security for the access to the bedrooms. Would definitely stay again and have already recommend to others

Made a two day stop here, to visit: Warner Brothers, Harry Potter Studio Tour.
The Premier Inn has recently been refurbished, first impression was excellent, stunning
new updated decoration and spotlessly clean. The problem was there was no A/C in the room, it was 27 degrees with no option to cool the room, we used the fan in the room, left the window and room door open.
I don't know if this is the new standard for updated refurbishment, but, plug sockets have been replaced by USB charging ports (fine for mobile phones) but left one 13amp socket (after fan and hairdryer used) for additional items laptops / i Pad / etc.

We had a meal at the Beefeater restaurant and although the food was good, the service was shocking (after 1.25 hours all we had was our drinks, most of the main courses on the menu were off, we eventually gave up on the sweets as my son had to go to bed) It was reminiscent of Fawlty Towers with one waiter bringing the wrong order to each table and then disappearing to leave a young lady on her own to run around and sort things out.

Reason for stay was to visit Harry Potter studios and this premier inn was only 10 minutes away. Lovely location, great for all the family. Very peaceful area. Room was very clean and we were very happy.

Stayed here for one night attending a wedding locally. Very handy location close to the M25 and St Albans. Arrived back from the wedding and my father was experiencing mobility problems. The staff on duty were fantastic and did all they could to assist.
The room was stifling hot, and no means of getting any breeze or cooling. Lack of plug sockets made the desk fan and mobile phone charger mutually exclusive. Why don't hotels provide more plug sockets? So annoying! The bed was very noisy and squeaked a lot. As a regular user of Premier Inn this is unusual. We were woken at 8.45am on the Sunday morning by someone hammering, which was unwelcome, and the shower didn't work, which I reported at check out to be told that it was probably blocked after a refurbishment, and it would be reported to housekeeping.
We had breakfast in the Beefeater opposite, which was OK.
A bit disappointed overall, and not the standard we usually get from Premier Inn.

What an unexpected treat to find such picturesque surroundings, so close to the M25. An old mill house has been converted into the restaurant, with the old mill wheel on display. The restaurant was lovely - clean and inviting with friendly staff. The food was very good too. Outside the restaurant was a pretty duck pond - feed for the ducks was available to purchase, with proceeds going to Great Ormond Street Hospital. All the children and most adults were amused by the ducks and moorhens. There was ample seating outdoors in very pleasant surroundings. The actual hotel had recently had a refurbishment and was very clean and smelt fresh and new too.The room was well furnished and very comfortable. We all had a great night's sleep and would definitely stay there again.
