Margaret's cottttage is absolutely beautiful with spectacular views. It is the perfect getaway with everything you need. Judy and Malcolm made us feel really welcome and we were very touched with the hospitality they provided. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

I travelled here with my mother and 2 children aged 9 and 10. The directions to the cottage were spot on and when we arrived we couldn't have wished for anything more. The cottage was beautiful and spotless with everything you could want inside. The view from the pation was absolutely lovely, helped by the great weather we had while we were there! The kids loved the wildlife that visited the garden and the adults loved the peace and quiet. I would recommend staying here to anyone as the cottage and the area are just perfect!!

“A fabulous cottage with spectaular views”
Reviewed 28 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

My husband and our young family have just returned from Margaret's cottage and it was exactly as stated by other reviewers simply the most picturesque and stunning cottage we have every stayed in. The cottage has absolutely everything you could need and we felt so at home immediately. We arrived tired and stressed from our busy lives and left feeling wonderful. We loved the beaches both 7 mile and Rhossili and spent many hours flying kites and playing on the beach and in the sea (its cold!) with our kids. Don't make the mistake we did and discover Pembry country park on the last day, if you have kids you need to go there, for the fab beach, the train ride, the toboggan and there was a craft market when we visited. It is only a couple of miles from the cottage. Finally thank you Judith for the lovely welcome gifts on our arrival.

“One of our favourite places to stay”
Reviewed 28 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

We have just returned from our second stay at Margaret’s Cottage and are sure we will be returning in the future. Once again the welcome was exceptional; who else but Judith and Malcolm would provide welsh cakes with strawberry and champagne jam and clotted cream? Others have extolled the virtues of the cottage and we can only agree, the facilities are second to none and the situation and views are superb.
The cottage gives access to some wonderful countryside. Camarthenshire is something of a forgotten county and we were never short of interesting places to visit. Burry Port itself has a lot to offer including the harbor and the Millenium Coastal Park, and there is a delightful footpath into town starting near the cottage. We were out exploring almost every day, but if the weather is bad the cottage is so cosy that it is a delight to stay in and just chill out.

“The perfect holiday cottage”
Reviewed 25 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

The cottage is beautifully kept and very homely. The beds are comfortable, there is a big walk in shower and hot water on demand, and Judy leaves plenty of entertainment (books, DVDs and games) for quiet moments. The view from the back is fantastic and there is a lovely garden with table and chairs if you want to spend some relaxing time around the cottage.

At the back of the garden beyond some low lying plants there is a large drop which is one to keep the kids away from; it posed no danger to my 4 year old daughter.
