Great room with great view. the room was spacious and very clean. bed was super comfy. The staffs were very friendly and professional. They are ready to help us anytime and everything we need. Best luxury hotel in Tokyo.

Yes, the room and furniture are a little bit outdated, but the overall classiness, views and solace of this hotel more than make up for this. The hotel is at the top of one of the tallest buildings around so I can't imagine that any of the rooms are lacking a view. The room itself is comfortably large and the blinds are electronically controlled. You get a real metal room key, which is probably more for charm rather than being a relic of the past.

The staff is always eager to please and all of them seem to be English speaking.

The biggest downside is probably the location (15 minute walk to Shinjuku station), but there is a complimentary shuttle to the station every 20 minutes. There are nothing but office buildings in the immediate surrounding area.

We did have dinner at the New York Grill one night, which was very good (and expensive). There is live music at the bar and great views of the city.

Yes, this hotel was featured in a movie, but it stands on its own.

We had a fantastic experience at PHT. The hotel is amazing, an enclave of tranquility above a city that can be overwhelmingly hectic. The staff is of the highest caliber and the service - partly due to the Japanese mentality of excellence - is unrivaled. Highly recommend!

Hands down the PH Tokyo had the best service from arrival through departure that we have ever experienced. As soon as we arrived by taxi they asked our names, took our luggage, and escorted us all the way to our huge, glorious room with an amazing panoramic view. This was the only hotel in which I just had to enjoy a bubble bath. The staff were exceedingly lovely and spoke perfect English. Every interaction was textbook politeness.

The only negative for us was the location. It is exceedingly safe, but out of the way for tourist destinations. We knew that when we booked it, so it wasn’t a surprise. We just wanted to experience this fantastic hotel and couldn’t have been more pleased with it.
