Room size is good and the location is very convenient to take the train.
The only issue was the parking. I tried to ring them to ask for car park booking. However, the staff could not explain clearly before my arrival. I have to spend 1800 Yen to park in a private parking lot outside the hotel for the 1st night. Other than that, the hotel has a very good value for accessing Tokyo, particularly if you don't want to stay in Tokyo downtown.

Room Tip: close to two train stations, particularly you can buy day trip in the main train station.

I went to Japan last year for exchange summer school program. After 7 hours flight, I felt so exhausted and tired. But the best thing is, my friend and have been placed to this hotel so that we can take a rest. This hotel is quite small compared to other hotel, but surprisingly the room is very spacious and comfortable. You can have green tea if you like inside the room. Beside, there are two modes air-conditioner, cold and warm. If yo can't stand cold weather outside, you can switch your air-conditioner to warm mode. It just let me felt like I'm at home~

Room Tip: small, affordable, near to the train

Relatively cheap for the larger than normal room you get in Japan.
Breakfast is good. The bed to 3/4 rather than the standard single. There is a fridge in the room and a tea maker.
There is a small but deep bath with shower.
Around the corner is a family mart if you need provisions

The Japanese company that I was visiting in Kanazawa area booked me in this hotel and I am really happy that they did. I reached the hotel at 11:30 pm and check-in was quick and efficient.

The room was reasonably sized for a one person (see photos). Very clean. Even though I travel 30+ nights/year, I rarely sleep well in hotel rooms. Not so at this hotel. The bed was firm, air-conditioning worked perfectly, and the light switches were easy to find. Internet worked well, once you figured out where to re-enter the password on the all Japanese captive portal (hotel should fix this!). There was a interesting kettle (see photo), and Japanese tea in the room (though no instant coffee). As you can see from my review, I quite enjoyed all the little touches.

Breakfast is Japanese-style. Miso soup, fish, rice, japanese pickles, salad, orange slices, etc. Do not expect made-to-order eggs, pastries, yogurt and cereal, though they do have scrambled eggs, sausages and bread rolls.

The hotel is a short walk to two train stations, and it takes about 45 minutes to get to central Tokyo. There are lots of small restaurants in less than 5 minute walking distance, unpretentious but tasty. During daytime, you will get the feel of staying in a residential neighborhood.
