I stayed here for a total of 4 nights while I was in Fukuoka. The great thing about this hotel is the location since it's beside the Hakata station (aka Grand Central station of Fukuoka & where the JR/Shinkansen trains are available).
You never have to worry about food since there is an abundance of restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel.
It's around 5km away (3 train stations) from Tenjin area where majority of the shopping is but you can still shop at the malls attached to the Hakata station (like Uniqlo Daiso, Tokyu Hands, or souvenir shops).
Breakfast was average. They have Japanese and Western options but dishes are quite limited but it is buffet style.
Rooms are average sized, not too small or too large. Bathroom amenities are also provided daily.
The only thing that I didn't like about this hotel is the smell of cigarette at the first floor. Be prepared to smell it every time you enter the hotel. It's unavoidable.More
