This hotel was probably a nice hotel at one time but the location is remote and the rooms are tired. A large facility setup for business meetings or conventions. For a tourist the location is bad and requires taxi transportation to all the main shopping and food areas. You can’t step outside and find a restaurant or shopping area.
The hotel could use a major room remodel.
It’s clean but dated. However the old bar is great.

It is the peaceful of the place. Have surroundings of valley, cool, and private. I like the design of the hotel because the every room can see the nice view of the garden, just you open the door. In the room you can choose bathtub or shower for relax and soak in the warm water as long as you satisfy.

The rooms are well thought out, large and very comfortablee. You could spend a big part of the day happily indoors without feeling restless. Every room faces greenery which is very tranquil. I love the beautiful nearby park with a 1.8km walk around a lake best of all. There is a subway station 10 minutes' walk away as well as a bus station. Unfortunately, there's hardly any alternative restaurants and food places nearby apart from the hotel food.

We were on a bus tour so this was an adequate! It is not in the centre of Kyoto so just be aware but there is a station not too far away. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and they served a decent breakfast, lots of different choices both Asian and Western. There is an egg cooking station where you can get fried eggs or an omelette and there were bacon, sausages as well. We did enjoy our stay here but because we were on a bus tour we did not need to be close to anything. If travelling alone I would stay closer into the city itself.

This place is located in a beatiful setting. Although far from Kyoto central area, it us accesible via subway. The place is cleand and well kept, with a first class service. The atmosphere however is business-like and I dont think is a nice place to stay for other puposes
