Located right outside the city of Barolo, the restaurant as at the very top of their vineyard with the most outstanding countryside views possible-the absolute perfect lunch location. This is a fine dining restaurant, and it exudes elegance in every touch. Reservations are a must, even with empty tables, you will be turned away. Service is outstanding, 5 stars, really high quality service. Child friendly. We of course had wine from their vineyard, a very nice bottle. Their bread basket is a very nice fresh assortment. They promptly served our son a preparation of agnolotti in a butter sage sauce. I had the agnolotti traditional, dry in a napkin, very good. My husband enjoyed the ravioli stuffed with braised Barolo stew, it was very very nice, almost sweet and you could taste very beautiful notes of spices. For entrees, I enjoyed the porcini and potatoes roasted with rosemary in paper, excellent. My husband enjoyed a braised veal with stewed prune plums and accented with balsamic--delicious! He also had a very nice 4 piece cheese assortment, at perfect temperature and accompanied by a local chestnut honey and jam. Everything here is perfection and elegance. Prices are very reasonable for the high level and quality.
