We were lucky to find a place in August as they were fully booked. Had a superior mobilehome, very close to the lake; we enjoyed staying on the veranda long at night "listening" the silence, watching the lake and the lights on the surrounding mountains.

Although the camping was full it was really quiet, very civilized people, talking on low tones at night, everyone respecting each other.
We stayed in many campings across Italy (Garda, Sicily, Rome) and this one was one of the best. Everything was clean, the grounds, the bungalow.

Small welcome kit which was a nice touch (dish washing liquid, towel, cleaning towel).
We loved the food at the camping restaurant, and although we ate in sophisticated restaurants in Stresa or Baveno, we preferred having dinner at this restaurant because the atmosphere was relaxed and the food delicious (the pizza, the panna cotta).

They had animation for kids but that was no great, the dancing and movements of the animation team was inappropriate for kids.

Overall we will return definitely here, as there are a lots to be seen on this beautiful lake.

Room Tip: Bungalows close to the lake

Easy to reach having put our motorhome on flat bed railway from Simplon Tunnel near Brig through to Italy for £20! Motorway quality road, about one hour. Right on lakeshore, private, well kept beach, close to nature. Acsi pitches second row from lakeshore.
Sanitary block, clean and modern. Nice soft toilet paper sheets! But no toilet seat, gives for chilly morning start! For hot water let the shower run. Very helpful reception, excellent English. Campsite restaurant, lovely atmosphere, log fire and fine dining. Well done chef and sensible prices! Wi fi prices per day also now reasonable. Checked out Orchidea next door, two euros cheaper but Conca d Oro wins for me. Quality site, staff and location.

Room Tip: Pitches by lake shore, but near sanitary block

A very nice campsite with spacious pitches and clean and large caravans. Always kept clean and the location at the Maggiore Lake is beautiful! The restaurant is very good and not expensive, we thought it was better than the restaurants Feriolo.

Stayed on this site for a couple of days in June whilst touring in our campervan. Great campsite with great views of Lake Maggiore. Paid extra for our pitch in order to be directly on the beach. Cost for van and 2 adults was 40 Euros a night, which included a booking fee of 10 Euros for booking in advance. In my opinion the booking fee is a bit steep as I booked 2 pitches at the time and got hit with a 20 Euro booking fee. Was it worth it? Not really, because other campers sit on the beach in front of your pitch and therefore you privacy is restricted, but you do get amazing views at daybreak and as the sun goes down. There are 3 very clean washroom blocks so there are no queues for the showers. There is a good restaurant on site where you can also get take-away items. The shop is fairly well stocked as campsite shops go and the reception staff are helpful. Apart from a few minor issues, this is a very good site in an outstanding location.

Room Tip: Book a pitch on the beach for the views but be aware that your privacy will be restricted.

We stayed here with our caravan. The plots are spacious. Because there are only trees there is no privacy. The private beach is wonderfull!
WiFi is overpriced; 2 euro for one hour, three Euro for 3 hours or 12 Euro for a day. It should be free!
We went to the village when we wanted to use WiFi and searched for free WiFi service where we could spend our money on a cup of coffee, food or similair expenses.
The towns around the lake are all great to visit with fun, pleasure and music in the evening.

Room Tip: The plots near the water are the best, worth the extra cost, but you probably need to make a reservation to get hold of them.
