With a bit of TLC this could be a fantastic camp site, the scenery is fab and the location is spot on. It's all a little dated and needs a major revamp.
For nearly 60 euro for two nights it's on the lower end of a 2 star site and for that money we were expecting more for our money.
A lot of groups drinking well past the curfew and many still playing music and drinking outside well past 3am. Not what you want in a family orientated site. As well as that there was a large group of teenagers drinking in the indoor area on both nights. No sign of owners or any form of security on site. Sand pit, tennis court and golf all unplayable to poor upkeep. Gates and fences in pet farm all need replacing. The bin area was overflowing with all sorts of refuge .
I hate giving bad reviews but it's justified in this case. On a positive note the owners were very nice and were will to help or answer any questions we had. As I said with a bit of investment this could be a lovely site.

We arrived very late and had to put the tents up in the dark, but the man who came to book us in etc was very nice and very helpful. We asked about paying and he made a call and said we could have that night free which was very nice. Parsons green is in a very nice setting. The scenery is spectacular. They have lots of facilities for families and lots of animals, indoor playground, wifi, outdoor playground, pony rides ,cart rides etc and it could be fantastic if they just paid more attention to the details. It is all a bit 'tired'. gates and fences want fixing, everywhere needs a coat of paint. The shop needs sorting and opening up earlier. The site is approached down a lovely tree lined lane but when you look to the sides, there are lamas (very exciting for us all) except they are in a field full of broken machinery old vehicles etc. which does not give a really good first impression of the place. The river walk is a wonderful walk, very pretty, but again needs gates and animal pens sprucing up. We eventually found the crazy golf which is situated behind two container lorries and could be a really good attraction if painted and opened up. Same with the tennis court which has the recycling area on it. my daughter and I both said the same thing. " we really like it here but they could do with a really good maintenance man". Everyone was very friendly. There was ample hot water and showers but if anything they were a bit too hot. Would I go again,? well I would look around for a better site next time, but if I couldn't find anything else I would stay there again. The scenery and friendliness made up for the other shortcomings.

This is a lovely little spot between Ardfinnan & Clogheen in Tipperary. You can camp or just visit for the day. Even though prices have increased a bit, it's still decent value - €15 for family of 5.

Plenty to see and do for a few hours - animals, pony rides, horse and cart, boat ride, nice walk, cafe, games room and a few kids play areas including a zip wire. You do have to pay a couple of extra notes for the horse rides and the boat but that's ok.

If you have the chance to nip 15 mins around the back when you are finished you can take in the "Vee Drive" - stunning views from the mountains towards Lismore and Cappoquin.

Stayed here every year for the last 4 years on more than one occasion with my trailer tent.i have to say it's possibly my favourite campsite of them all.
The staff are always so friendly.
On site the pitches are good with both hard stands and open fields.power and water are never too far away.there is a chip shop,an indoor and outdoor playground perfect if it rains, campers kitchen and showers are free.in high season there is weekend disco for the young ones.
There is also a lovely farm on site with a host of animals on show. The best thing about this site is that although not as quite as some sites it's great that you can sit out and have a few drinks at night without being bunged into your tent at 11 like other sites costing far more.
I would like to thank pj and his wonderful staff for yet another great holiday at parsons green and I will see you again real soon
    Regards
