We stayed in the Piggery which is a beautifully restored stone building that is open plan, very comfortable, has an excellent view and is very well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. At first I was a little sceptical of the help yourself starter and desserts. However, my concerns were unfounded because the friendly staff to help you navigate the selection of dishes on display and each group of guests were escorted to the displays independently so there was no queuing or rush. Even though the restaurant was fully booked the atmosphere was very tranquil with a pianist playing in the background. The staff were very friendly, attentive but unobtrusive throughout our meal. I would highly recommend the restaurant even if you are not staying at Blairscove House. Breakfast the next morning was brought to our accommodation which was very convenient and relaxing. We had a wonderful time and would loved to have stayed longer.

A friend and I stayed in the Piggery. It's a beautiful, two-storey building with two bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, and a lovely open plan sitting room/kitchen/dining area downstairs. It has views over the water. The restaurant is great and the staff are all very friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed for 2 nights, and had dinner one night. This is not a cheap destination, but quality comes at a price. It is special occassion stuff...
Stayed in the Coach House, really well equiped, everything you could need (well, maybe not the TV, but this was not in any way needed!!), the view and light levels fabulous. Really liked the breakfast served in the room - exactly on time as ordered and delicious. Would have liked an option for some more fresh air to the room - small windows to rear the only choice, but this is a small point.

Service in the restaurant is second to none, food standard could not be faulted. The help yourself starters and desserts mean you get to taste a myriad of different foods - things you'd proabaly never order if you were restriced to one starter. Its a busy place, but only during evening service. The mornings are bliss.....calm and quiet....
We had a wonderful mini break.
