Mouth watering roast belly pork, husband's pizza was also top tier. Menu offers an excellent selection and staff happy to adjust to suit your preferences. Highly recommended.

The goats cheese pizza was hands down the best pizza I've ever eaten and I've been to Italy. The combination of rich, creamy goats cheese and sweet relish was delicious.

Being a vegetarian I often find small town restaurants have a token one or two veggie options that aren't anything special but, that was not the case at Carlitos. We shared the mozzarella melts which were dreamily creamy. There were also a few other appealing vegetarian options.

We really enjoyed the laid back vibe and sleek decor.

I will make sure to return when we are back in Ireland. Thank you team Carlitos! We don't get out often after having a baby but, you made it a very special evening.

Booked a table for 2, for 8.30. Arrived at 8.25 and took a set at the bar and had a drink (Espresso martini, I 100% recommended!). The staff were lovely, particularly Antoinette who was so friendly and attentive when checking our booking and seating us at the bar. It was very busy which is always a good sign! Sat a few minutes later and were in awe of the menu! Would have had one of everything but settled on the monkfish and a pasta dish for mains and a charcuterie board for starters. Delicious doesn’t cover it, tasty until every last bite! A fabulous bottle of red (I forget the name but it was delicious!) definitely will be back, the bill was a very pleasant surprise, very reasonable for the outstanding food and excellent service, Aoife who served the food was a pleasure, Irish hospitality at its best! Bailies coffees to finish off is a must!

Went to Carlitos in Dunleer this pm . Order was simple a starter to share, 2 main courses and a Bottle of house red.
Starter arrived, no extra plate despite advising that it was to share ! Was not told about the specials on the board - despite listening to every other table around us being advised. Lasagne on menu advised that there was a side salad , no side salad arrived ! We asked, server said she would check in the kitchen- that was the last we heard. Not once during our meal we’re we asked was our food ok, table beside us was asked twice !!! When plates were cleared we were asked about deserts , and I also asked for the Main Menu as I wanted to check was side salad included with lasagne - at that point server came down and apologised that we were not given the salad.
Really disappointed with Carlitos - got apology , but felt like outsiders as we are not regulars!

I got a recommendation for this restaurant (takeaway during Covid). I rang looking for a voucher and the service and efficiency of the transaction was top class! The food is highly recommended. This restaurant is a must for those who like great food and great service.
