Easy access (I am using a walker). Small menu, mostly seafood and pasta. Friendly welcome. Open kitchen. Cooked fresh to order. Fast service. We thoroughly enjoyed our shrimp spaghetti.

I was GRANDPAcking in Playa Las Lajas for 1 week.
I tried several restaurants in the area.
At the Refugio, I tried their Prawn Spaghetti for $11.25.
It was OK but the prawns weren't fresh - and were a bit chewy.
Menu prices are a bit chaper than at the Sabores next door.
But, you get better V4M at the Nahual.
Had a great time in this hotel. The hosts were really awesome and they really care about the guests. The service was great, the food was awesome, the hotel was realy clean and comfortable. Also the beach was beatufull.
