This is a must play on the northern coast of Ireland. It is a little difficult to find but it is worth it. The clubhouse is new and well maintained. The course starts off a little plain but just give it a couple of holes and you will not be disappointed. the views of the course, the turquoise water, and the neighboring coastline and islands are spectacular. The beach right off the of the course is clean and not a bad temperature in the summer. It is a resort area for the region so there is a trailer park near the course so that some of the Irish from other regions own and stays there on weekends and the summer. But it does not distract the course at all. But the best thing about the course is the people. I never been anywhere before that the people were that friendly. When they realize that you are not a local, they go out of their ways to make sure that you are enjoying your stay and round. People walk up to us while we were playing (slow) and ask if we were enjoying the course and we apologized for any wait. Their response was not to worry and to enjoy our round. They were not in a rush. After the round several came up to us in the restaurant to ask us what we thought. It may not be as well known as the other course, but it is just as good if not better.
