Having spent the day on the river my friend and I were ravenous. My friend ordered the fillet steak despite its price. 30 euros is far too expensive for pub grub in rural Ireland. When it arrived it came with a load of peas and a couple of mushrooms and onions slices hidden under the meat. The meat was inedible - over cooked and dry. It was sent back an eventually the waiter arrived with a plate of TWO steaks- but again they were inedible. We weren’t charged for the meat. Dreadful experience.
