A Fancy but Impractical Hotel.

1. The Room : Big spacious and clean room. Controls for the centralized aircon and TV was really hard to comprehend and unresponsive. Be prepared to hold the button up to 3 secs each time you change a channel. The Door is very thick but still you can hear people talking in the corridor. Wifi is very weak in the room but strong in the toilet.

2. The Jacuzzi : You won't find another Hotel in taipei offering in room jacuzzi and steam bath facilities at this price. Good Value. The jacuzzi control is unresponsive. At times, switches on by itself - howling ! and wake you up in the middle of the night. Please be aware the windows are not tinted. If you happen to be enjoying the view from your jacuzzi, your neighbors are enjoying their view of you too. Oh, and the steam bath lets out steam on it's own free will. Keep your distance when switching it on.

3. The Service : Good all round polite service except they keep ringing your room if you are late for check out by 10 mins. I'm not happy because I stayed in many 'Boutique' hotels and NEVER had the service staff ever expected guests to check out on time. Please be aware there are no bellboys and the staff will not help you with your luggage.

4. Location : Lousy location, the Hotel is hidden in a very secluded area. Even with all the advertisements the hotel places in the vicinity, the cabbies still can't find it. The nearest metro station is quite some distance away. (15 - 20mins walking) Taipei has unpredictable weather, if it rains walking to the station isn't such a good idea after all. The Siping Korean market lies halfway between the metro station and the Hotel. The nearest 24HR convenience store is located here too. However, There is a small but attractive garden just beside the Hotel.

5. Breakfast : Like all other Hotels, that make you pay for it as part of the Hotel stay (It's never free) I would skip it after the 1st day.

Conclusion : If you like fancy but not practical stuffs, stay here and regret it.

Room Tip: If you still insist on staying here, the tip of the day is : you can print up to 5 pages of documents or maps per day for free. Get the paper from the staff. If you bring your own paper, you can probably print till the ink runs out.

After a few nights with Taipei International, we checked out to try out this hotel. It was 10-15mins walk from the metro. The hotel lobby looked comfortable and the room was small but clean. Special bathroom fercilities like sit-on water jet & steam shower room, jacuzzi bathtub, butt washing toilet bowl, and TV made this hotel different from others. Can see that the hotel tried hard to provide good breakfast. Few varieties of food to choose from. However, the food was not very impressive. They screwed up the most basic scramble egg as it tasted nothing of egg but greasy vegetable oil instead. Pillow was soft and flat.
It was no better than Taipei Int. Unless you just go there for the bathroom and to enjoy the room with your partner.

Booked this based on the good reviews here. And was not disappointed!

Location: No idea where the hotel is actually, I think that it would have been impossible to find without good directions. Having said that, it doesn't really matter cos taxis are plentiful in Taipei

Room: Such a bizarre yet fun room! The famous heart shaped jacuzzi... complete with milk bath. Yes, the lighting is weird, but it makes it all the more fun. The bedroom itself was big and comfortable. With good internet connection

Others: Limited gym/exercise options. The front desk was great - friendly and helpful and completely obliging.

Don't go expecting 5 star luxury, but be presently surprised. It's a bit cheesy but in a nice way.

spent a night at this hotel with my husband before flight home. The reason we chose the hotel is convenient location near an Evergreen bus station, transportation to the airport. The luxury room was clean, a bit small, but well equipped and very modernly designed. Breakfast was very good. The staff is English speaking and was helpful when we asked for a weigh-scale to weight our suitcases. Our last night in Taiwan was something to remember because of this hotel.

We just spent 5 nights in Beauty Hotel Roumei and i liked it.
Things I like:
1. Wonderfully designed Hotel, very modern and clean.
2. Extra ordinary room amenities, awesome jacuzzi bathtubs, tv inside bathroom, great shower and etc. Really rejuvenating.
Things i didnt like:
1. Location; it is in a quiet alley but taxis had a hard time locating it.
2. For adults, browsing thru their tv, we saw porn on channel 3 and 5. Definitely not for kids.
