Stayed from December 21-24:
1. The room is clean. The bedroom area might be a bit small but the bathroom is very spacious.
2. Bed and pillows were comfortable.
3. Toilet has no bidet.
4. They provide complete toiletries from toothbrush, cotton buds, shaving kit.
5. They have like hangers on the wall where you can put your jackets, etc. Very useful.
6. Location is okay. About 15-20 minutes walk from Taipei Main Staion (MRT). The hotel is closer to Beimen Station.
7. The hotel was under renovation during my stay. There was no lobby area where you can sit and wait.
8. There is a 7-11 nearby.
9. Very close to Taipei City Mall
10. The staff were okay. They don't have the welcoming vibe that other hotel staff provide.
11. Overall, good place to stay.

Nothing to shop around the hotel, at least have to walk about 8-10min to the nearest Cosmed. There’s 7-Eleven just 2min walk from the hotel (turn right after you exit).

Shelf check-in once you enter the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful on the check in process. But I think even without any explanation, it’s quite straightforward; the machines gives clear instructions on how to check in.

Room is small and compact, suitable for 1 person. Doesn’t seem to have space for 2 luggages. No windows. No full length mirror. Fully equipped. Clean and comfortable bed. Complimentary bottled water. Strong WiFi connection.

Check in 3pm, check out 12pm.

Once you get in, a staff will greet you and guide you to a self service check in process.

Our room had air-conditioning, free WIFI, cable TV with a few English channels, small ref, small safety deposit box, complimentary bottled water, toiletries, hair dryer, bathtub, and hot and cold shower. There is no cabinet; instead you hang your clothes on hooks fastened to the wall. The room we got had just ample space to move about, but didn't have windows. The bathroom is big, but you need to be careful as you need to take a big step before you get in the tub to take a bath.

To sum it up, this hotel is new, well maintained and staffed by helpful locals. The location is near train stations, so you can move around Taipei. However, there's not much restaurants nearby, except when you visit Taipei City Mall, and there's not much food choices there. The bathtub is not for the mobility impaired. Overall, I would love to stay at this hotel again.

Tips:
There's a 711 to your right, once you step out of the lobby.

Taipei City Mall's Y21 exit is to your left when you step out. You can then move about City Mall to get to various train platforms.
