This hotel is very accessible to many of the eating and tourist locations. The train station is also situated within walking distance. Staff here was very friendly and great help in providing information about things to do and see around the area. The room space was just nice and clean.

This hotel is like Japanese business hotel. Compact, clean, free wifi. Not spacious but enough space to sleep and relax.
Location : accessible for Taipei Main sta or Beimen MRT sta. Beimen is little closer. From Taipei Main sta., you come undergound to exit 23 and hotel is close enough. It is also close to 迪化街. 7-11 is next door. There's another City Suites very close to hear so don't get confused.
Free wi-fi service. We struggled to connect for the first time, asked for help at front desk and solved. Wi-fi speed is good enough.
A bottle of water is served evert day, which is a good service.
Seems most of the visitors here are Chinese, Korean Japanese. Hardly saw Europeans or Americans.
There are other City Suites in major cities in Taiwan. We'd like to try another City Suites when we have chance.
We booked thru Expedia with international round trip air tickets at the very last minute.
There are many things to like about this hotel. It is clean, modern and the beds are comfortable. It is well-situated for the historic areas around Beimen and also not far from youth mecca Ximen. It is not noisy at night, despite being on a busy crossroads. The staff were friendly, courteous and professional.
The room was a bit basic for the money, however. Our room had a window (which we paid extra for!) but it was very small and there is almost no privacy for "going to the bathroom". You pull a curtain across the glass but some sounds may still be audible, if you get what I'm saying. TV worked but it was pretty hard to use and the channel selection was very basic. I wouldn't have wanted to spend more than a couple of nights there, that's for sure.
Overall, this hotel is fine, especially if you get a good deal, but there's nothing here that you'll be that impressed by or particularly love. It's fine and there's nothing wrong with it; that's all I can say.
I have received so many help and assistance from the hotel, the front desk are very helpful, the location is superb, rooms are clean and reasonable priced!
Closed to shopping district and Taipei main station! Very secured area, walking distance to the Metro station.. highly recommended !!
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at City suites Beimen from April 17 til 22. The staff are very helpful and polite. Our room looks great with a modern touch. Bathroom was well-designed and well-lighted. Room was comfy and cozy. There's free-flowing coffee and milk tea at the lobby too. But the best thing about this hotel is its LOCATION. Taipei Main Station and Beimen MRT Station are waliking diatance. There are several bus stops nearby. Plus a 7-Eleven store down the hotel is the most convenient thing. Would consider staying here again if we travel again to Taipei.
We stayed here for a week and the stay was enjoyable. Close to Beimen MRT and if you take MRT from airport to Taipei Metro walk towards Biemen station and take exit 3 lift if you have luggage. Room was comfortable and the 7-11 next door was great, we grabbed fresh coffee in the morning and at times at a cheap dinner there ( they also helped with our train tickets) The only downside is the rooms are quite noisy, our shower drain was really loud when the room either beside or above us used the shower to the stage we had to put a towel over it. Transport wise it was a great choice, a pity about the noises. Nice staff as well.
