“Don't believe the hype!”

Welcome drinks and cold towels, beautiful gardens , and great breakfast .
But that's where it ends!
Shown to our room which is tastefully decorated but a lot smaller then expected, and pictured.
Basically a bed right in the middle of the room with less than 1 meter of space all around it .
Went out for a drink and returned to find the air conditioner had leaked water all over our bag and soaked our clothing.
Now I understand that this is an accident but it had obviously happened before as there was a wet towel on top or the cupboard underneath it.
Then instead of just being moved straight away to another room by onsite staff we waited over an hour for the owner to attend who on arrival was more concerned with trying to repair the dodgy air con than anything else .
Then initially told they had no more rooms when obviously they did.
Was ready to just walk and asked one more time 'do you have another room or not?'
They decided that they did have another room which we moved to and was bigger and more comfortable size wise our clothes were washed ironed and returned within 12 hours.
Unfortunately the air con in the second room was also faulty and couldn't cool the room at all (25 degrees at 3am).
Told staff about this and they played with the remote , but to no avail, it was just weak and need re-gassing or similar so gave up on that one.
So after a poor nights sleep went to breakfast, this was definitely one of the best included breakfasts that I have had.
If you had say 15-20 people you can rent out the whole place and this would be awesome, but if you are just renting 1 of only a few rooms it's very cosy and almost awkward, the pool is very small and you sit and eat breakfast around a round table with others guests similar to a backpackers.
The furniture is very uncomfortable with chairs outside the rooms made from 44 gallon drums with no cushions, the 4 pool lounges are timber slat also with no cushions, these may be ultra trendy and arty but certainly not practical or relaxing.
The outside bathroom is stylish but not practical for a female if it is raining and you do not wish to get your hair wet when showering.
No fridge or TV in the rooms and frankly way over priced and over rated.

“Hidden gem close to Bingin Beach”
Reviewed 8 October 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Villa Hari Indah - located a couple of steps from Bigin Beach - is a wonderful B&B designed with attention to detail. Jeffrey, the host, is friendly and welcoming and he is always of assistance when it comes to trip or restaurant recommendations.
The rooms are modern, beautifully decorated, clean and equipped with comfortable beds. The open bathroom is fantastic and it feels like taking a shower in a beautiful tropical garden.
Also the pool area was amazing with nice plants and wooden sun chairs (looking good but not that comfortable). The breakfast was delicious and fresh and is served at a large round table in the open reception kitchen area. I liked the idea but most of the guests did not talk to eachother which was a pity.
In a nutshell, I loved the peaceful place and would definitively stay there again. The only downside is the cash payment which is slightly inconvenient in my view but common in Bali.

“Beautiful and peaceful for a getaway”
Reviewed 22 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We loved our stay here! It was quiet and relaxing. Jeffrey and his staff were friendly and accomodating. Housekeepers were very efficient making our room up everyday with fresh towels and bed made. Close to shops, short scooter ride to main part of Uluwatu. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Loved the villa kitties and Indah the dog. Only disappointment is the villas really need a small bar fridge though. Highly recommend this hidden gem for a peaceful break!

“Perfect design, very clean and personal small place”
Reviewed 19 May 2017 for a stay in February 2017

Clean, beutiful place, nice pool, very nice design, the owner did his best with the choice of colors, great outdoors bathroom spacious with a good shower. Nice breakfast, healthy and light in a way. Paradise for those who love cats, there is 4 of them and a cute friendly dog.The only minus was the house parrot that was really loud the whole day, especially early in the morning, also there was some noice coming from the workers close by doing some work at 8 am, but I guess that will be done soon,so no noice should be there in the future.
All in all,would recommend :)
