Didn't fancy cooking so came in here for lunch after going on the Seaton Tramway. Great decision! Ordered fish and chips using the catch if the day (pollock) and was not disappointed. The batter was perfect and the fish was delicious. The staff were friendly. The pub was recommended to us and we would certainly recommend it.

Friendly staff, seats not very comfortable in the bar, good atmosphere. Food looked very appetising, but decided against eating here after seeing young man serve food, pat dog and continue serving without washing hands. Perhaps I'm too fussy.

Six of us dined there, sadly the food was not up to expectations. The staff had another table of 15 and managed the situation well.
Plenty to eat but not memorable, nice building.

Had an evening meal here and the pub was busy which is a good sign!
Opted for the Catch of the Day which is caught fresh by the owners in their own boat which was superb.
Friendly staff, good food and ale, what more do you want?!

What a fab pub and the locals are lucky to have such a great one in their town.
Super staff, friendly clean (the wc's were immaculate) nice choice of spirits, wines and taps. We popped along for a relaxing dinner and drinkies after a day out and was really pleased we had booked. Gets busy and the specials board is something not to be missed.
