A nice simple hotel close to Futuroscope, easy to find plenty of parking and friendly hosts.
Rooms were clean and had a number of beds suitable for families sharing.
Other amenities in the village in walking distance.

Stopped overnight on way to SW France. Lugged suitcases between the two halves of the hotel situated on opposite sides of the road as we were not informed which one our room was in.
24 euro menu was pleasant but not unusual . Service was slow becaus eof alarge party which arrived after us. We were wrongly charged at the end of our stay for someone else's restaurant bill.

Stay 1 night on the way back to the home. We received a great welcome by the management couple. Big familly room, lovely breakfast with a large choice including a brioche and croissants... Well decorated restaurant with a nice selection of Menu's and a la carte, we have enjoyed our experience Merci and see you soon, your address is kept safe.

If you read the reviews you will get a good idea of what to expect - this is a good example of a village hotel/restaurant. However some visitors who came after us struggled , so here are some directions:-
The main hotel is to the East of the main street through the village. The entrance to the municipal parking at the rear of the hotel is to the south. However the reception and the restaurant are on the other side (west) of the main street slightly to the north.
Enjoy!

Arrived on a Sunday in the pretty village of Vivonne. Unfortunately the whole place seemed to be closed! However, the owner served some reviving beers on the small terrace to the rear of the hotel next to the impressive church. The room was very small and the bathroom particularly challenging on all levels. Crossing the road to the hotel's attractive restaurant proved a highlight. Dinner was delicious with a good selection of choices. Service was exemplary and the wine recommendations excellent.
