A great place to stop and have a great traditional Danish-cuisine meal while on the road! Staff was very welcoming and so friendly! As a tired solo traveler, I was greeted warmly and treated with great attention and care!

As many charming danish inns, this one has great charme and a bit dated decor, but it suits the place. The room was clean, and service super. Spacious parking right outside. Very nice breakfast. I will be back.

We hosted a small event at this historical venue, the ambiance is fantastic, as you would expect in a venue steeped in History.

The planning phase of the event was handled very professional from the management (Lars Bo's) site, which was extremely important as we booked from abroad and only arrived the day before.

On the day of the event we arrived an hour before, to find that everything was perfectly prepared and during the event the staff was very attentive - and it all vent exceptionally smooth!

The food was excellent and good value, the staff was brilliant and I can only give my very best recommendations of the Venue.

Yes authentic does also mean old but it's an ok hotel.
Friendly staff spacious rooms in ok condition. There's a garden behind the hotel with a terrace. Kids can play on the trampoline, swing or the wooden play house.

Breakfast is served from 08:00.

For our trip to Southern Jutland we needed a centrally located place to stay accepting also pets, and were very pleased with our stay at Den Gamle Graensekro.
The place turned out to be quite nice, with very quiet and clean rooms. The dinners were very good, if maybe too plentiful, and breakfasts were nice. Very friendly wait staff and good service.
