Opted for just a 1-night stay at Chateau de Taulane Golf & Spa, above all to check out this beautiful 18-Hole course - believe me any Golfer would have a fab time on this one! The location up in the middle of no where but close enough to the Cote d'Azur makes it a must. Stayed in a Jr suite in the Chateau main building. Chose their Escapade Gourmand formula absolutely delightful the meal was to die for and certainly very complete - fresh, piping hot and beautifully presented.
A few of the Chateau outbuildings from what we understood are still in the process of being renovated but the Trattoria Mario (Club house lunch, breakfast and refreshments during the day) was crisp and bright, the Restaurant Marquis de l'Isle was amazing: lovely lighting (and I mean the actual light features which were so unusual), a central fire place (would have loved to be there in the snow!) a spectacular view of the Golf Course, a large, cosy lounge area for pre-dinner drinks, on top of which you can get a good look at their wine cellar which was amazing. Not to be forgotten the "Bien Etre" area: Spa, Hamman, Sauna, heated pool... and a lovely patio with recliners facing full South!
Last but not least ... the charming Staff - our short stay was delightful thanks to your constant and discrete attention. Merci, Merci we will return!!

Room Tip: Jr Suite main building view over the golf

The most beautiful golf course and location but in July we had so many flies in our bedroom and at breakfast and lunch. Steam room and gym were out of action and we saw no evidence of any reparations of these.

Room Tip: superior rooms in chateau but take your own fly spray

Nice hotel. Wonderful Golf. It is really too bad the food is of such POOR quality. How can such a nice Golf club serve such low, low quality food badly executed for such a high price ?
If you want to play a round of Golf, do so but do lunch before or after in on of the local places in the neighborhood.

This is an idyllic location, with beautiful grounds. A superb golf course, and many great amenities. A good restaurant and great service! Great Wi-Fi throughout. But what does a hotel sell first? A good night sleep. Well, the room was perfect, the sheets and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was well designed, but what did they think when they bought the mattresses? At least the ones in room 110... Please buy good mattresses.

Room Tip: Ask a room with good mattresses.

Set in lovely grounds and a golf course the building are well maintained. Bedrooms are spacious and well equipped. The restaurant is set away from the reception area, The choice on menu surprised us by being rather limited . The food was good and well presented .We were not impressed by the attention received by the waiters in the dining room, having to choose the desert at the same time as we ordered our starter and main course also on 3 occasions we had to leave our seats to pour out more wine. The dining room was not busy and one waiter was standing talking socially to the guests at the next table for along time while we attended to our winerequirements.
