Before I share all the good I think about Dusit Princess Moonrise Beach Resort, let's review their Thai restaurant, where we had our first meal (lunch)!
Staying in a resort owned by a Thai group, it would be a pity not to experience their Thai restaurant :)
You arrive, you check in early, you have a swim, and you have lunch at Soi 14. What a beautiful morning!
As everywhere in the resort, the staff is charming & attentive.
The meal was like a prawn orgy :)
3 huge, fresh prawns, perfectly cooked, in each of our 3 dishes:
- papaya salad: well, it was a papaya salad, as it should be
- tom yum goong: our preferred dish, light & super tasty; I suggest the restaurant to include one portion of steamed (or sticky) rice
- pad thai: same comment as for papaya salad
Prices are reasonable (for ex, 210k for pad thai, if I'm not wrong), all the more if you are a Dusit Gold member (join for free) to enjoy 20% discount on F&B.
If you stay in this resort, you should definitely have at least one meal at Soi 14. It is for sure the best Thai restaurant on the island.
