We have just come back from a fantastic 10 night stay. My son is 9 and daughter is 4.
No sunbed wars...!!!! Could not believe I could go down to the pool at 8am and get a bed.
I can't tell you how impressed we were with all the staff in the resort, always very polite and courteous and made a real fuss of the children.
The rooms were spotless and drinks refilled every day if needed.
There are various nationalities in the resort so expect different cuisines and not just your own. All the food was delicious.
The entertainment team worked very hard but I would like to say a special thank you to Jay who always made a big fat fuss of my my 4 year old daughter who was very fond of Jay and also to Hannah who would always stop and say hello even though she was busy.
Waiter service in the evenings which was nice with proper glasses and huge measures.... those guys too worked very hard.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will for sure be returning.

We have stayed at Club Pollentia for two weeks in July this year; we found the staff very friendly, the room maids very efficient and the reception very helpful. At breakfast there was plenty to choose from and would think that most tastes are catered for and if you like buffet dining, the evening meal was quite good, if not on full board they cost 25 euro’s each. The resort has two pools, an adult pool and a family pool, we went for breakfast at about 8.15 am and usually every sunbed around the adult pool had a towel on it but only about four people actually sat on them. In the two weeks we stayed there we never managed to get a sunbed there. Around the family pool was not much better, most of the prime places being taken and later on in the day finding a place in the shade was very difficult but not impossible. We stayed in the standard Maris room which was adequate but not exactly plush, good air conditioning but we found the ceiling fan was good enough but there are no coffee making facilities which we found rather substandard for a four star rated resort. The bathroom flooded several times in the first room we were given and it took quite a bit of ‘discussion’ at the desk to get another room allocated to us, but finally they did. The resort is quite isolated but there is a regular bus route just outside that takes you into Porto Pollentia or Alcudia which allegedly comes every fifteen minutes. The taxi fare from Porto Pollentia is about 10/11 euro’s; evening meals we had for two people, with wine ranged from 42 to 58 euro’s. Hope this has been helpful to make your judgement for what is quite a major expense in your budget.

Room Tip: Choose one away from the busy road.

We are right now on the hotel. Wednesday the staff has destroyed the lock to our room, and the door was open, when our daughter got to the room, and yes offcause our money was stolen!
Do allways rent a safety on this Hotel! The manager didn't take any notice, she wrote a report and asked if I have any money, then she would Call a taxi to the police. She was very busy telling me, that the Hotel was not responsible in these matters!!!

Now we give them the last 3 days to make it better and afterwards the rest of my opinion of the hotel will follow..

Dear julie,

After speaking with our customer service department we found that what happened is that the lock of the room door was broken and this is why we sent our technical service to repair it.

As you may know this is an isolated case because normally our customers request the use of the safes located in the rooms as well as the one at the reception.

Of course we find unpleasant to know that events of this kind occur in our establishment and therefore we will take care to investigate what happened and to increase the safety information among our customers.

Our second holiday here with a gap of four years in between - it has only got better! Facilities, food & location are all really good, but what stands out is the friendliness & helpfulness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be booking again.

Room Tip: we were in the maris rooms which run adjacent to the main road. the traffic noise did'nt bother us at all.rooms are quite small but adequate. for the amount of time you spend in the room we had no complaints.
