It was a wonderful weekend - John and Wendy are fab hosts - nothing was too much trouble. It is a beautiful home - we stayed with friends and loved using the lounge with a real fire. The afternoon tea and cakes was a really pleasant surprise. We also opted to eat in and the food was brilliant. The choice at breakfast is incredible. Easy to find, good car parking, the rooms had everything a girl could want including fresh milk in the room fridge. We will be coming back!

From our correspondence with Wendy prior to our stay, we knew the Old School Bed and Breakfast would be a very special place. And it was! The inviting renovated school house is beautifully decorated, the rooms cozy and well-equipped, and the surrounding area charming. Wendy is an outstanding source of knowledge about the villages, historical sights and travel in the Cotswolds. Breakfast is amazing - cooked to order with glorious and abundant options. Complete with a delightful farm housing chickens, ducks and bunnies, a stay here is healing, relaxing and memorable.

Just home after our second visit to this little gem of a place. A wonderful evening spent catching up with fantastic friends. This haven of a place is so much more than a bed and breakfast. Wendy and John together with their team offer a truly personal stay. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is individually tailored to your needs. The beds with Egyptian cotton sheets and beautifully comfortable mattress toppers make it hard to actually get out of in the morning. Dinner and breakfast are first class and bedroom facilities are five star. The thing that really stands out is that you feel like you have spent time with some dear friends. Wendy and John are simply the perfect hosts. I am already looks forward to returning again next year. The perfect tonic for a wonderfully relaxing weekend - you simply have to go!

From the minute you step inside this beautiful home, you feel you've come somewhere extra special. From the wonderful welcome you get from the host Wendy, the rooms which are exceptional in terms of comfort and style, the location and then there's the breakfast's to die for, it makes for the perfect getaway. I have stayed in many B&B's, but rarely do I come across such a gem and somewhere where you genuinely feel that nothing is too much trouble. Wendy makes your visit very special and with the help of her partner John, you couldn't wish for a better place to help make your memories count - loved every minute.

Room Tip: Each room is individual in style . I have stayed in 3 of the rooms to-date and each was really good in its own way.

There are great reviews about this B&B. Everyone who has posted gave it 5 stars and there're reasons for that.

Situated  between Chipping Norton and Moreton-in-Marsh making it an ideal base for exploring the gentle hills and
picturesque villages of the Cotswolds.

As far as food goes the breakfasts are something any
professional chef would be proud of and the afternoon tea and cakes would probably win the GBBO by a country mile.

The rooms at the Old School House are spotless and the
sitting areas a total joy to relax in. You can’t fault the
attention to detail.

As for the hosts, Wendy and John are delightful. Wendy
is the driving force and John the amiable interloper always ready to lend a
hand when he is about. Both make you welcome. It takes a lot of skill to make every guest feel special. Wendy and John go the extra mile to make your stay as perfect as possible, well except for delivering bright
sunny days in winter, though I am sure if John could fix that, he would. But what specifically is it that makes so many guests rave
about this B&B? Why does it get 5-star reviews time after time? Like any perfectly baked cake it is all about picking and blending the right ingredients. Whilst
some establishments may excel in one or more areas of hospitality listed above,
so few bring all these together with such artistry like Wendy does.

The highest compliment I can pay Wendy and John is this: if
you ever consider setting up your own B&B or small hotel, then the Old
School is the gold standard to aim for. It is why it has all those 5-star
reviews you have been reading. Having just spent New Year there, I look forwards to returning later in 2017 when John has fixed the weather for me. You will do that won't you John?
