We have 16 loose leaf teas from which to choose, and James Gourmet Coffee from Ross-on-Wye. Booking is advisable for lunch & especially for Sunday roasts served every Sunday 12-3. We serve our hot food menu (including breakfasts) until 3pm all year round.

We met two friends who were over from Australia (we had never met them before) , it was the ideal place to meet and the food was excellent, our friends were very happy with the restaurant, and we had a lovely day with them here and showing them around Lydney where the husband was born.

Popped in for a quick lunch with a friend last week. Couldn't decide what to have as it all sounded lovely, then saw the all day breakfast and opted for that....not a bad decision! The cake for afters was the highlight though, and we weren't rushed out of the door either.

A very good large Sunday lunch was had with friends. Portion sizes were excellent and the food very good. We had lamb, beef and vegetarian options all polished off, followed by some excellent pudding choices. Would recommend their food and menu choices that also cater for dairy intolerance through offering non dairy alternatives.

We stopped here for a bite to eat after visiting Little Dean Jail. The staff were really friendly and we ended up having a good laugh with them. The food was delicious, especially the vegan chocolate cake! We both had sandwiches with a side of fried potatoes and all of it was amazing.
Would highly recommend a visit! They also have a little dog that wonders round who was the sweetest little thing!

Really good quality food and service. Lovely cakes and meals. Lunches extremely good. Can get a bit crowded as it seems to be very popular
