I came here for a work trip as I was visiting a customer in the area. The hotel has a fantastic mix of relaxed with attention to detail. The room I had was massive and the food was top quality the owner could not be more helpful. Will be back

Right from the word go we were made to feel welcome and cared for, we were given a very comfortable double bedroom with all the facilities one requires for an overnight stay. Before dinner we took our drinks into the garden which is being lovingly restored, a major feat considering there are so many different levels to contend with, the owners intend to use the garden as a romantic setting for newly married couples, with fairy lights and intimate seating set in the most beautiful surroundings. Dinner was excellent as was the service. We would highly recommend this lovely hotel, all the rooms are having a facelift and even have a little fridge to keep the milk and water nice and cool.

Yes, definitely one for a return trip, ticked every box, and when you consider how easy it is to be disappointed in hotel life, this really restores the faith in service, ambiance and quality. The rooms were superb, clean and well maintained.

We stayed for four nights at this lovely Hotel, situated in an old converted grammar school. We were made to feel very welcome, and our room was extremely stylish and well equipped. Breakfast choices were good, and the evening meals both good value and very enjoyable! This hotel can truly be described as a "Home from Home" and we hope we will be able to come back again!

Room Tip: We stayed in the "Marshall" room - excellent in all ways.
