I saw this advertised on Trip Advisor and am so glad I did. A little off the beaten track but well worth the search. 2 converted barns which were quirky. The bed was so comfortable. An array of animals, horses, hens, cockerels, sheep, turkeys cats and dogs. Breakfast was served in the farmhouse and the table was laden with an array of goodies. Fresh baked bread and homemade jams setting you up for the day. Mein host was Hugh a wonderful guy. Friendly helpful funny ...he had us in stitches about the cockerels and a brilliant cook. Highly recommend just relax and enjoy.

Just returned from our second visit, our daughter and fiancé have also been twice. The owners Hugh and Marion are very welcoming, very nice people who do everything to make your stay as good as possible. The farm is a great place to relax, either in your beautiful room (ex milking parlour, now beautifully converted) or walking around the farm taking in all the views and walking with the horses, sheep, turkeys and hens. Freshly homemade bread, jams and the farms eggs are included in the extensive breakfast. Whilst there we visited the local pub Rose & Crown which served great food in a really good atmosphere. We cannot wait to go again either later this year or for our birthdays again next year. Thank you Hugh & Marion, see you again soon.

Room Tip: If you want peace, tranquillity with great service ...just go and enjoy.

Dear Red
Thank you so much for taking the time to write your super review, its very much appreciated as not many people know we are here or that we do bed and breakfast on the farm...I will let Jenny know you enjoyed your visit to the Rose and Crown in the village for your evenings meals. Good thing about the pub its in easy walking distance and serves great food. looking forwards to seeing you again in the future!

We spent a fantastic 2 nights here. The room was very comfortable and equipped with everything that you could need, fresh milk in the fridge for drinks, biscuits and fruit supplied daily. Our host could not have been more welcoming nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was one of the best that we have had, with fresh eggs from the many chickens and homemade fresh bread daily. We were sad to leave and will certainly be back.

We came down for a supercar test day from northumberland and booked in here, what a fantastic place, we were greeted on arrival by Hugh and he showed us our accomodation for the night a lovely little cottage type room with ensuite facilities. We had Chickens, Turkeys, cats, dogs, horses and sheep all very friendly we loved it. Hugh made a fantastic breakfast with fresh bread it certainly filled us up for the day. If we ever come down this way again wouldnt hessitate to book up. Well worth a visit to anyone who is down this way. Many many thanks to Hugh, Marianne and family
